Behaviour management

Going for Gold

Our Going for Gold rewards system encourages children to work towards being a 'gold' student.  As part of the reward system, each child's attendance, behaviour and homework completion is recorded.  Based on these charts, children work towards the three levels of Gold, Silver and Bronze.  This level is used to reward students during our Gold Reward Friday afternoons and end of Term Reward Days.

Bee Rules

All children are expected to follow our 3 'Bee' rules at all times.

  • Be a Learner

  • Be Responsible

  • Be Encouraging

Rewards and Recognition

High Fives

Each child has a stamp book where they are awarded stamps or 'high fives' for following our rules and making good choices.  Children receive rewards for achieving 50 and 75 high fives.  Good behaviour and wearing appropriate hats on the playground are also rewarded.

'Gotcha's'

'Gotcha's' are given out during break times for following our rules and wearing appropriate hats.  Children are rewarded with a ticket that goes into a bag, which is drawn during each parade.  Children whose names get called get to choose a prize.
